Angela Lang is literary artist passionate about travel narratives. Her practice explores how the ideas of what is foreign and portable change in a hyperconnected world. She uses photo archives and bilingual storytelling to celebrate serendipity and trust. Her series and collages have been shown at World and Co. in Sofia, Bulgaria and Studio Kura in Itoshima, Japan. She has been to writing residencies at Kriti Gallery in Varanasi, India, and Casa Tagumerche in Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain. Her travel articles, short stories and reviews have been featured in several publications in the USA and she has been an editor in Spanish language projects at The New York Times Company, Meredith Corp. and Hola!. She was born in Bogota. Half-nomad, half-flâneuse, she has lived in four continents and six countries. When she is not on the road, she calls New York City home.
