とても楽しく刺激的な1月をStudio Kuraで過ごした後、今月はArts Itoyaで、すでに進行中の作品にさらに層を加えることに取り組んでいます。主に、九州各地での現在の観察をもとにした植物の表現や想像に基づいており、また、歴史から現代に至るまでのさまざまな表現スタイルへの関心も反映しています。
After a very enjoyable and inspiring January at Studio Kura, l’m spending this month at Arts Itoya exploring further layers on the works already underway. Mostly based around representations and imaginings of plant life both from current observation in these parts of Kyushu and an interest in styles of interpretation from historical to contemporary.
