少女が「木（Tree）」を探し求めて未知の世界へと旅立つ物語を描いた「Journey」は、人生の法則や、古い自分から成長していく過程で私たちを形づくる試練を表現しています。
紙に描かれたミクストメディア作品の連作を通して、本プロジェクトは、混沌との遭遇、歪められた目標、正体の分からない他者との出会いなど、旅のさまざまな段階を探求しています。
「Journey」は、最も大切なものは「木」そのものではなく、そこへ至る道のりの中にこそ見出されるのかもしれない、と示唆しています。

Following a little girl’s journey into the unknown in search of the Tree, “Journey” illustrates the rules of life and the challenges that shape us as we grow out of our old selves. Through a series of mixed-media paintings on paper, the project explores different stages along the way, including encounters with chaos, distorted goals, and unidentifiable strangers. “Journey” suggests that the most meaningful things may be found along the path to the Tree.
