Koko Odashima-Parker

小田嶋パーカーここ（Koko Odashima-Parker）は、イギリス・ロンドン出身の英国系日本人マルチメディア・アーティストです。ドローイング、絵画、映像など、さまざまなメディアを用いて作品を制作しています。

代表作である『Night Bus（ナイトバス）』シリーズなどでは、公共交通機関の車内における曖昧な空間（リミナルスペース）や、そこに漂う非現実的な雰囲気をテーマに描いています。また、コンティニュアスライン（一本線描画）やブラインドドローイング（見ずに描く）といった遊び心のある手法を通して、日常の風景をスケッチし、線や重なり、反射といったテーマを探求しています。

現在、彼女のバスの絵のひとつが、ロンドンのロイヤル・アカデミー・サマー・エキシビションにて展示されています。

Koko Odashima-Parker, (小田嶋パーカーここ) is a British-Japanese multimedia artist from London, UK. Koko works with various mediums including drawing, painting, and moving image.

Her work – such as, her ‘Night Bus’ paintings – explores themes of liminal spaces within public transport interiors, and the alien atmosphere that these spaces can often evoke. Furthermore, through playful drawing methods such as continuous line or blind drawing, she sketches ordinary scenes from life and explores themes of lines, layers and reflections.

Currently, one of her bus paintings is on show at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London.
