ルス・ロペス・ダビシノ（Luz López Davicino）は1993年、アルゼンチンのコルドバ生まれ。絵画と版画を中心に活動するアーティストです。美術とデザインを学び、2022年から旅を始め、イタリアへ移住。そこで《Atravesar el paisaje｜風景を横断して》というシリーズを開始しました。このシリーズは「移動」「旅」「移民としての体験」を芸術と結びつけて探求するものです。
このシリーズは、まさに「動き」の中で生まれました。最初はイタリアでの生活の中で、絵を描くことが移民としての経験を受け止める手段となりました。その後、彼女はヨーロッパ各国を自転車で旅しながら制作を続け、訪れる土地や風景を記録するうちに、作品はさらに変化を遂げていきました。
彼女の作品は「記憶」と「風景」のあいだを旅するものです。場所が私たちをどう変えるのか、そして「移動」がどのように自己認識の形となるのかを探求しています。
透明な支持体を使用することで、絵画が周囲の風景と対話し、絵画と風景の境界を曖昧にします。現実と想像が一筆ごとに交錯し、作品のひとつひとつが「旅の途中に浮かぶ一瞬のエコー」として存在します。
また、写真的な手法も取り入れながら、新たな視覚的感覚を追求しています。
時に彼女の絵画はまるで宙に浮かんでいるようで、それは「新しい浮遊する世界の一場面」なのかもしれません。
ルスは3か月間日本を旅しながら、このシリーズの制作を続けます。

Luz López Davicino was born in 1993 in Córdoba, Argentina. She is an artist passionate about painting and engraving. She studied Fine Arts and Design. In 2022, she began traveling, moved to Italy, and started working on a series, Atravesar el paisaje|Across the Landscape, an exploration of movement, travel, and the experience of migration, connected to art.
This series was born in motion. First, during her life in Italy, where painting was a way to assimilate the experience of migration. After a while, she began a bicycle trip through different European countries, and with it, the work continued to transform, recording the landscape and the new places she visited.
His work is a journey between memory and landscape.
He explores how places transform us and how movement becomes a form of self-knowledge.
He uses transparent supports, allowing the painting to dialogue with its surroundings, blurring the boundaries between painting and landscape. The real and the imagined intertwine in each stroke. Each work is a suspended moment, an echo of the path traveled.
He also uses photographic resources to investigate new visual sensations in his work.
Sometimes his paintings float, and he thinks they could be scenes from a new floating world.
