On the 25th May 2019, Cho, Hui-Chin had an exhibition.
“To Whatever Mystery Lies Beyond”
Cho, Hui-Chin’s works are what she describes as postulate. Which means painting, sculpture and photography are the same manifestation. Since they are identifiable in the ambitious depiction of concrete dimensions, and such ambiguities are conveyed into a variety of compositions and motifs.
Materiality is an important facet to her practice, notably objects which are antique or vintage, which could correlate with the existence between life and death.
Through her work, she intends to reflect on conflicting phenomenon, namely the inevitable relationship between obsession and humanity.
