Lynn Kennedy（リン・ケネディ）は退職した総合診療医で、退職後は創造的な活動に取り組んでいます。彼女は42年間の職業生活において、チャーチルフェローシップ、総合診療医による独自の研究のためのフランシス・ハーディ・フォールディング奨学金、そしてクイーンズランドがん基金トラベリングウィメンズフェローシップを受賞しました。芸術探求の一環として、彼女は数年間水彩画やアーバンスケッチに取り組み、最近ではティッシュペーパーにジェリープレート印刷をしたり、コラージュを作成したりしています。これらの最近の取り組みは、紙を使ったオブジェの制作へと発展しました。

Lynn Kennedy is a retired General Medical Practitioner, currently exploring her creativity in retirement. In her 42 year professional life she was a recipient of a Churchill Fellowship, a Francis Hardey Faulding scholarship for original research by a GP and a Queenslander Cancer Fund Travelling Women’s Fellowship. Her arts exploration has seen her spend several years as a watercolourist and urban sketcher with more recent forays into gelliplate printing on tissue paper and collage. These later endeavours have extended to the construction of objects from paper.
During her time at Takeo she has challenged herself to construct vessels using only tissue paper (her own gelli printed tissues and some fine Japanese papers), card, stitch and as little glue as possible.
She can foresee further explorations into paper sculpture, basketry, origami and textile art.
